About this Blog

This blog will be for people who are looking to get dinner on the table quickly and who are vegetarians or are looking for meat free meal options that are tasty and satisfying.

As a full time student who also works, most week days I am crunched for time. When it comes to making dinner it is imperative that I get it on the table in a fairly quick amount of time so I can get everything done that I need to before the day is over.

I also happen to be a vegetarian so I am always looking to make new and tasty quick vegetarian meals that will satisfy not just me but also my non-vegetarian husband.

Rachael Ray's Easy Cheesy Enchiladas
Cooking has always been a hobby of mine and I especially love the challenge of coming up with new meals that my husband and I both enjoy and then having the satisfaction of putting that new recipe in the keep and make again pile.

I like watching cooking shows and looking through modern and old cookbooks that I find at the library or at garage sales. I have been inspired by many of the chefs I have watched on T.V. but especially Rachael Ray. I have adapted many recipes that I have seen to be meatless and to fit my tastes.

I hope to create a community where we can all discuss recipe ideas and give each other helpful suggestions. A place where someone can go to get ideas and recipes that will be helpful to their daily life. I look forward to hearing from you all.

  1. This sounds like a really cool idea for a blog. While I'm not vegetarian, I don't eat meat very often so most of my meals tend to be vegetarian or vegan. It's always nice to see more vegetarian recipes, especially on cooking shows. I love to watch Food Network, but so much of their content revolves around the proteins and most recipes relies heavily of them to provide flavor. It's like nobody told them food can taste amazing even without meat! I'm looking forward to reading more from your blog. Thanks for posting.

    1. Thanks Justin. I love to watch food network too. I like to take some of the recipes I see there and cater them to my own tastes and make them vegetarian. Thanks for the comment.
